Lissa Greenlee, Executive Director, Greater Richmond Alzheimer; “Advancing the Science: The Latest in Alzheimer and Dementia Research”
Lissa Greenlee is the Executive Director for the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Richmond and Central and Western Virginia. With over two decades of experience in the voluntary health sector, including a significant tenure at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Lissa brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her current role.
Lissa is deeply committed to supporting seniors and ensuring that no family faces Alzheimer’s and other dementias alone. As a certified Research Champion with the Alzheimer’s Association, she is well-versed in the latest advancements in dementia research, including diagnostics, therapies, and prevention, and is eager to share these insights with her audience.
Lissa holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and a master’s degree from the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband, Ryan, and their 12-year-old twins, Ava and Parker.
