VCU Rotaract Officers

  • Niyomi Shah, President

My name is Niyomi Shah - a student part of the GMED program at VCU! I have been involved with Rotary for many years — seeing my grandparents serve in Rotary as club officers back in India and witnessing the inspiring projects they conducted has ever since encouraged me to serve the community in a meaningful way! Hence, my involvement in recent years serving as President of my Interact high school club and now a part of the Rotaract leadership at VCU. I am so excited to lead our club this year, finding different opportunities for our members to make a positive impact on our community and across the world!

  • Shanza Ali, Past President

I am a Biology major with a Chemistry minor. I joined Rotaract to help my community and to make a good impact on the world.

  • Aditya Kotha, Vice President

I am a junior at VCU majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology on the Pre-Medicine track. I am eager to serve as an officer for VCU Rotaract so that I can continue to put service above self and positively impact the Richmond community with others.

  • Shreya Balasani, Treasurer

I am a sophomore at VCU majoring in Biology with a minor in Art History on the Pre-Med track. I was heavily involved with Interact throughout my high school experience and am so excited to continue that civic engagement here in Richmond through Rotaract.

  • MattaLynn Pastore, Secretary

I’m a biochemistry major and a junior. I plan to help keep Rotaract organized and bring new ideas to the club.
