Megan Wise, WBBT 12 On Your Side Weeknight Meteorologist; “Inside the Eye: The Daily Life of a Meteorologist”

Megan is a five-time Emmy Award-winning meteorologist. A native of Pittsburgh has been fascinated by the weather since she was a little kid.

Her passion for weather took her to Millersville University of Pennsylvania, for a BA in meteorology. Megan started her career as meteorologist and fill-in morning anchor and producer at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri before moving to WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she worked as a weekend meteorologist, solo evening anchor and producer. She also hosted “Megan Wise Goes Outside,” where she did everything from caving to hang gliding.

She joined 12 On Your Side in 2015 where you can watch Megan Wise’s forecasts every week night at 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 p.m. When not working, Megan can be found golfing, cheering on the Steelers, Pens and Pirates and hanging out with her Labrador retriever, Boss.
