Each year our club donates over $20,000 to nonprofit organizations in Richmond. We listen to community organizations through our members and as a group through our luncheon meetings. We adjust our grant and volunteer programs to evolving circumstances and needs. This year’s 2021 awardees are:

Virginia Voice – Audio for the blind - $5,000

Comfort Zone – grief support for children $5,000

Jacobs Chance – Assistance for youth with disabilities - $5,000

Robinson’s Theatre – After school program - $5,000

We infuse our actions with Rotary’s four-way test: is it the truth, is it fair to all concerned, will it build goodwill and better friendships, and will it be beneficial to all concerned.

Process for applicants: Each fall, our members contact non-profits to encourage applications and we publicize the availability of grants opportunities through our web site and social media. We offer multiple grants opportunities to help non-profits improve life for the people of the greater Richmond. Applications deadline: TBA
